07 MAPPING CRIMES AGAINST THE ROHINGYA2018
I designed a website in collaboration with a team of researchers and advocates at Amnesty International to accompany their report on Myanmar’s crimes against Rohingya villages in Rakhine State. The map-based, interactive narrative draws on extensive research carried out by Amnesty International’s Crisis Response Division and includes satellite imagery, video evidence, and interviews documenting human rights violations, village burnings, and displacement. I managed the project and carried out design, data management, and image processing, in addition to co-developing the site’s frontend with the team at SITU Research.
